Distinguished Alumni Award

The Distinguished Alumna/Alumnus Award is the Information School’s most prestigious award.  First awarded in 1961 by what was then the School of Librarianship, it continues to be awarded annually to honor outstanding, living graduates of the Information School.  Alumni are awarded for specific meritorious service in support of the quality or the advancement of the Information School and/or the University of Washington, distinguished accomplishment in business, professional and/or academic life, and distinguished service in community affairs.  Below is a list of who has won this award in the past.
